Privacy Policy
How Notetive handles your information when you use our website and apps.
Last updated: April 10, 2026
Summary
Notetive is built around local-first thinking: your notes stay on your devices by default. This policy explains what we may collect on this website, how our apps treat your data, and the choices you have.
Website (notetive.com)
When you browse our marketing site we may process:
- Technical data such as approximate region (from IP), browser type, and pages viewed—typically via hosting or analytics you configure (e.g. Vercel, privacy-friendly analytics). We aim to minimize this.
- Preferences such as language and theme if stored in your browser (e.g. cookies or local storage) so the site remembers your choices.
We do not intend to sell your personal information.
Native apps (Mac, iPhone, iPad)
- Your note content is designed to remain on your devices and in your chosen sync scope (for example iCloud when you enable it). We do not operate a central server that reads the body of your notes for advertising.
- Crash or diagnostic data may be available through Apple’s systems if you opt in to sharing analytics with developers. Review Apple’s settings on your device.
Exact behavior can vary by app version; see in-app notices and App Store privacy labels when the app is published.
